Frequently Asked Questions About the Level III Certification

The Level III "C" Certification covers the foundational feints and moves every beginner player needs to know and incorporate — and that advanced players still return to whenever they're picking up something new. Mastering these fundamentals is what lets a player progress toward real mastery and eventually develop their own signature moves, the kind that actually distinguish one player from another.

For coaches, the certificate verifies something specific: that you're equipped to prepare beginner players in these feints and movements. That matters more than it might sound like at first. Very few coaches, at any level, are actually capable of arming their players with the moves suited to their field position — in fact, most coaches can effectively teach only a handful of moves, often four or fewer. So this certification is also for coaches willing to be humble enough to learn to teach feints and moves technical skills beyond what's typically available in most soccer, coaching, or federation training environments today.

What does the certificate actually verify?

The Level III Coaching Certificate verifies that you've completed the Foundation Moves curriculum and passed the graded certification exam covering the feints and moves taught in the IPPT and Training Section 1 series. It's a technical-skills credential, not a general coaching license — it documents a specific, defined body of knowledge rather than a broad qualification.

Who is it for?

Foundation Moves is built for players, coaches, and educators. Players use it to build and document a real technical foundation. Coaches and educators use it as a credential accepted by clubs, academies, and coaching programs, and as a way to assign structured training to their own players.

How much does it cost?

The exam is a flat $100 fee. There's no subscription tied to the certification itself, and the fee is the same regardless of which platform (web or native app) you access the program through. Registration for the training videos themselves is free.

Do I need any prior experience?

No. The curriculum is built to take you through the moves step by step, so it works whether you're just starting out or already play and want a documented, structured foundation.

Is the certificate shareable?

Yes — it's meant to be something you can show a coach, a club, or an academy, not just a private record. If you're pursuing coaching or educator placement opportunities, it's built to serve as real, checkable evidence of completion.

What happens after Foundation Moves?

Foundation Moves is the first program in a planned series, and it awards the Level III certification. It's the one available today, and it's built to stand on its own as a complete technical foundation — you don't need to wait on anything else to get real value from it.

From there, there's a real path to keep advancing. Level III certification holders who want to progress further will be able to access Skills 2 Score — Advanced Moves, which contains the Level II certification exam. And those who complete the Level II exam will be able to access Skills 2 Score — Elite Moves, which contains the Level I certification exam — the top of the pathway. Each level builds on the last, so the certifications get more advanced as the number gets lower: Level III, then Level II, then Level I.
